Loved this book. I could not stop reading it, such a fantastic story of two sisters and the different experiences of how they endured during the war. Truly amazing to read the suffering people lived through during that time period.

This was such a good book. It is appalling to read of the atrocities that was endured, but so important to learn.

Not a fan of the prose or storytelling technique(s). The premise is interesting enough, but I found myself reluctantly trudging through each page to reach the ending.

When I first picked this book up, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The first few pages didn’t quite grab my attention, so my hopes for it weren’t high. But was I wrong!! This book has every emotion and demonstrates the resilience women have. I can’t recommend this book enough. Please give it a shot, and you will not be disappointed. I cried for the last hour or more while I finished the book. Inspirational to say the least.
